An Initiative by Coca-Cola India & Indo Dutch Horticulture Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
The Unnati Full Trellis Model is a high-impact initiative under Project Apple-Unnati, a visionary program led by Coca-Cola India in collaboration with Indo Dutch Horticulture Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (IDHT) as its official implementation partner. This model has been specially designed to boost apple productivity, fruit quality, and farmers’ profitability in apple-growing regions of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh through the globally recognized Ultra-High-Density Plantation (UHDP) system.
With India’s growing demand for apples and increasing reliance on imports, this project aims to create self-sufficiency by transforming small and marginal landholdings into high-yielding orchards using precision farming techniques.
Under the Unnati Full Trellis Model, each participating farmer receives a ready-to-develop UHDP apple orchard kit, which includes:
