The Unnati Apple Scheme India, a flagship collaboration between Coca-Cola India and Indo Dutch Horticulture Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (IDHTPL), is transforming apple farming across the hilly regions of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. This ambitious initiative aims to increase apple productivity and farmer profitability by introducing global best practices in orchard management—primarily through the Ultra-High Density Plantation (UHDP) model.
Apple growers often struggle with low yields, delayed fruiting, and scattered technical support. The Unnati Apple Scheme offers a complete apple farming solution to overcome these challenges, making apple cultivation not just viable, but highly profitable for small and large farmers alike.
Each farmer enrolled in the Unnati Apple Scheme India receives a specially designed kit that includes:

🍎 250 Quarantine-Cleared, Imported Apple Plants (5+ Feather) – These are high-yielding, early-fruiting plants selected for Indian conditions.

💧 Complete Drip Irrigation System – Includes a 15-meter 40mm main line pipe, 16mm inline drip pipes tailored for 250 plants, a water filter, air valve, and opening wall. This system ensures water efficiency and consistent moisture at the root zone.

🌱 230-Meter UV-Stabilized Perforated Mulch Sheet – Helps control weeds, conserve soil moisture, and maintain proper orchard microclimate.
This bundled approach empowers farmers to achieve faster returns on investment, reduce manual labor, and gain access to consistent, market-grade apple production. The scheme also promotes sustainable water use and eco-friendly orchard practices.
